How We Work
A straightforward look at how a deal moves through our desk, from first inquiry to delivery, and the safeguards built into every step.
How We Protect Both Sides
Every deal we facilitate runs with the same three safeguards, regardless of commodity or counterparty size, to ensure both sides' interests are protected.
Cash Against Documents
Payment is only released once the goods have been inspected and the required shipping documents are presented and verified. No payment moves before that.
Bank-to-Bank Settlement
Every transaction settles bank-to-bank through a top 100 institution. No exceptions.
Zero Advance Fees or Payments
Our suppliers will never request advance payments, fees, or deposits on any deals.
This is a general outline of how a deal typically moves through our desk. Every commodity carries its own procedures, documentation, and inspection standards, so the exact sequence and paperwork will be adapted to your specific transaction.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know you're not a scam broker? +
We don't ask for anything before you can verify who you're dealing with. No advance payments, fees, or deposits are ever requested, on either side of a deal, at any stage. Every transaction runs on a Cash Against Documents basis, meaning payment is only released once the goods have been inspected, loaded, and the shipping documents are in hand, never before. Payments move bank-to-bank through a top 100 institution, not to a personal account. Avytris Consulting & Trading Ltd. is a registered business based in Vancouver, and we're glad to exchange company documentation and go through the same verification steps (CIS, KYC) that we run with our own suppliers and buyers.
How do I know who I'm actually meeting on the other side? +
Before any deal moves forward, we exchange Company Information Sheets (CIS) and go through standard KYC checks with both sides. We do it because it confirms who we're actually dealing with, and it protects everyone involved, including you.
Do you take commission from both sides of a deal? +
No. We only take a commission from one side of any transaction, never both. Which side depends on the specific deal and our agreement with that supplier or mandate, and it's disclosed upfront.
Do you take ownership or possession of the goods? +
No. We facilitate the transaction between buyer and supplier. We don't take title to or warehouse the goods ourselves. Our role is sourcing, negotiation, and making sure the deal runs on fair, verifiable terms for both sides.
What happens if the goods don't match the agreed specification? +
If an independent inspection shows the goods don't meet the agreed specification, inspection documents won't be provided and payment won't be released. The deal doesn't move to settlement until the discrepancy is resolved between buyer and supplier, since inspection happens before payment, not after.
Do you work with suppliers or buyers you haven't dealt with before? +
Yes. What matters is that every counterparty, new or established, goes through the same verification process before anything moves forward.
What documentation do you need from me before we start? +
At minimum, a Company Information Sheet (CIS) so we know who we're working with. Once that's on file and an NCNDA is signed, we can look at whether we're able to help you.
What happens if a deal falls through after the NCNDA is signed? +
The NCNDA still applies. It protects both sides' confidentiality and the relationships involved whether or not a deal closes, so the parties introduced under it can't be circumvented or contacted directly outside the agreement, even after the deal ends.
